The questions I'm asked most, answered properly

Coaching, psychology, and how people actually think and change, with more room than a service page allows.

introduction

I write about the questions that come up often, both in coaching and in the training that led me here.

Some of this began as writing for my own professional development, the kind of thinking that usually stays private. I’ve put it here because it holds up well beyond that context, and because a proper question deserves a proper answer, not a paragraph buried on a service page.

None of it assumes you’re thinking about working with me. If something here is useful on its own, that’s exactly what it’s for.

A proper answer, not a paragraph.

Coaching or Therapy, What's Actually Different

A direct answer to a question I'm asked often, from someone trained in both.

The Philosophy Behind How I Work

What I actually believe about how people develop and change, and why it shapes every session.

What Actually Happens in a Coaching Conversation

Past the description on a website, into what a session is actually like.

Is Coaching the Right Thing Right Now

An honest look at whether coaching is what's needed, and who decides that.

Why a Good Coaching Conversation Isn't About the Right Question

Why the best moment in a session is usually the silence, not the clever question.

Hope this was helpful.

There’s no expectation attached to any of this. Some people read one piece and that’s enough. Others find it useful to talk it through properly, which is what a Discovery Call is for.

More will be added here over time, when there’s something worth writing at proper length, not on a schedule for its own sake.
